The Tenorions were born out of a genius creation by Toshio Iwai called the Tenori-On. The band formed in January of 2008 and have evolved from an experimental entity to a popular live act fueled by the Youtube phenomenon. Life began for The Tenorions when their first video was uploaded to the web. This showed them exploring the new instrument, slowly developing techniques and ideas into tracks, then a live performance routine. This got the attention of creative promoters, newspapers and TV shows in UK and in Europe. They have spawned a small following and gained notoriety at an incredible rate. The girls Nynn and Cici are very down to earth and are self confessed music and technology lovers. The Tenorions are now playing shows across Europe and the UK, at the same time writing more music.
